An framed offset lithograph of Landfall by John T McCoy. This print depicts The Spirit of St. Louis beginning descent for landing over Dingle Bay, Valentia Island on 21 May 1927, en route to Paris. This print is from the Pan Am Firsts commission in the 1960s for McCoy to paint important aerial achievements in a series of 13 images. The framed print is approx 20 3/4" x 1/2" x 16 3/4" and weighs 3lbs. The print is approx 19 5/8" x 15 5/8". Framed print is in a good, vintage condition with some wear on the frame, markings and debris behind the glass on the print. There are also some curls in the print. Has a copied signature on the left.
