Description
A Victorian silver two pint mug of baluster form, personal inscription, scrolling handle with heart from terminal and stepped circular foot. Hallmarked Charles Stuart Harris London 1887. Height measuring 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm), weight 10.4 ozt (325 grams).'York & Ainsty Hunt, E. Lycett Green, Master, 1st Prize Dogs, Won By, Mr. Brewster.'
Condition
The mug appears to have been recently cleaned and displays minimal scratches and tarnishing. The mug does display some general wear commensurate with the age and use, numerous shallow dints and bumps visible, the base has been a little compressed into the body on one side and therefore wobbles a little. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
