Three framed works on paper, the first: Frances Hynes (American, b. 1945), "The Curing Well", 1995, watercolor and gouache on paper, signed and dated in graphite LR corner, depicts early humans or primates on all fours, large brushstrokes of color throughout with suggestion of earth and sky, "June Kelly Gallery" label verso along with a museum label, tacked to mat and framed behind glass, slight waving of paper, minor wear to frame, not examined out of frame, 29 ½" h. x 22" w.; Robert Andrew Parker (American, b. 1927) watercolor on paper, "Mythical Creature," 1958, depicting maroon and blue winged cat-like silhouette in front of black background, signed and dated LL, in gray painted wooden frame, framed behind glass, not examined out of frame, ss: 17 ¾" h. x 23 ¼" w.; along with Watercolor and gold foil on paper, possibly Grant Dolge (American, b. 20th C.), signed LL, white ground with pale pastel colors and gold foil accents in geometric blocks, matted and framed behind glass, not examined out of frame, ss: 18 ¼" h. x 28 ½" w., PROVENANCE: Artwork formerly included in the NBMAA Study Collection.
