Zuni Multi-Inlaid Solid Sterling Silver 26" Butterfly Necklace (Signed) - This beautiful necklace was made by a Zuni silversmith and crafted of solid sterling silver. The necklace features butterflies decorated with mother of pearl, turquoise and coral inlay, showing wonderful attention to detail. According to our seller, her parents started in the Native American jewelry business in 1972, and the family would travel to the New Mexico Native American reservations and purchase pieces directly from the tribes. They eventually went into the gold jewelry business and have kept these pieces in their private collection for over 40 years. The necklace is signed "made L.A. Zuni" on the back of the piece.
