Federico Jimenez 12-Row Turquoise Inlay Solid Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet - This cuff bracelet was made by Mixtec silversmith Federico Jimenez. Important collectors and Museums have been customers of Jimenez during his 25 years in the jewelry business. This cuff is crafted of solid sterling silver and decorated with a 12-row turquoise inlay along with tribal stampwork. The turquoise have deep and saturated blue colors, each with a different tonality and matrix that gives beautiful contrast throughout. The piece is signed with Jimenez's FJ Sterling maker's mark. According to our seller, her parents started in the Native American jewelry business in 1972, and the family would travel to the New Mexico Native American reservations and purchase pieces directly from the tribes. They eventually went into the gold jewelry business and have kept these pieces in their private collection for over 40 years. Measurements: 2" wide, 6.5" inside circumference (includes 1" bottom opening). Condition: The bracelet is in excellent estate condition with light wear and lovely patina. (WEIGHT: 168.4 grams)
