Footed Brass Box by Erhard & Sohne, circa 1910. Nicely detailed small brass box with motif of geometric patterns and marching muses, or sylphs in robes, 5 ¼ in. long x 3 7/8 in. wide x 1 7/8 in. tall, wood-lined, maker’s mark and “Germany” impressed on bottom, old paper price tag for Joseph Horne Co. on inside lid, brass is tarnished otherwise in very good condition.

Erhard & Sohne was founded in 1844 by Gottlieb Erhard and his two sons in Schwabisch Gmund in Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. They are noted for their contributions to the decorative arts field, especially in the early part of the twentieth century.
