Boer War Bullet Struck Officers Canteen, an interesting metal officers canteen which has been struck by a bullet which has lodged into the lower front section. Remains of cloth covering to the body of the canteen and removable top. Accompanied by an empty Boer War Queen Victoria chocolate tin which retains much of the paint finish from the lid. An interesting grouping, the officer probably kept the canteen as it most probably saved his life, sadly not attributed to any such officer.
