Description
Original box with wood bottom and cardboard top. Beautiful paper label with harlequin clown looking through telescope at the moon, shows an old French village circa World War I. Looks to be complete, there is a composition harlequin figure on a metal base with wheels and marbles. Some early Victorian-type women in dresses on front of game board watching wood and composition man holding telescope and going up a ladder, supposedly to look at Halley's Comet. Halley's Comet was visible in 1910, so this is probably made after that. Marbles go from top down into gameboard to scoring area. Very unusual, well-thought-out, and elaborate game. Condition: (Very Good - Excellent). Dimensions: Box: 26 - 1/4" x 12" x 3 - 1/2".
