I am aware that I am too unpopular to make it worth printing. I am treated by reviewers as if I were some sort of dodo - or a callous egoist indifferent to 'starving peasants and war-torn Vietnam'. So why take so much trouble? I am not worth it", and other subjects, "Yes, T.J. Wise had his merits, especially as a forger.
