Vintage appx. 1930-ish art deco 14kt yellow gold (not filled, layered, or plated - THE REAL THING) ring with bezel-set shell, size 5.5, 3.13 grams. This is a little bit worn but a very appealing vintage piece - it seems like it would have in interesting history. The shell could have been a cameo that was worn down, or just a shell - the surface is not flat on inspection you can see uneven areas but it is smooth. The bezel setting is slightly raised and has some wear. The other frame of the ring is slightly larger than the bezel-setting and is notched/engraved. The sides of the band at the top have engraving in a V pattern. The top of the ring is an oval and is .62" long and .52" wide. The band in the back has some wear but still a ring that can be worn everyday. You can see the undercarriage of the ring in the photos - it is a quality ring for it's time. And you can also see how the light passes through the shell in the first few photos. The condition is good but with some wear.
