14kt Solid Yellow Gold Aquamarine Ring - Engagement ring or not, this is a beauty. It looks more clear than it is the photos. Pale blue. The stone is appx. 9.5mm by 8.5mm and at a minimum of 4.9mm deep - cannot be measured accurately due to the setting but that makes it an appx. 2.75 ctw stone, step cut in a pale shade of blue. The ring has not yet been cleaned but will prior to delivery. It is size 9.5 and weight is appx. 3.94 grams. The band is 1.3mm thick and 1.6mm wide. It has very nice scrolled accents at the sides of the ring where the band is and it has a bridged undercarriage. Very nice quality and design. I was so fortunate to get this at the price I did at an estate that I can offer it at a bargain price with best offer available. The ring is signed 14kt and with what looks like an odd S next to it. It has also been tested. The age of the ring can be anywhere from mid century to 1990's based on the woman's estate this came from - it is not certain the exact age. It has the step cut rather than the faceted or emerald cut which I think in this instance makes it later 1900's but I may not be correct on that. Either way, it's very beautiful and looks virtually new. I found this beauty at a Pennsylvania estate auction. Very good condition.
