(lowerright) for Thomas Hazlehurst (British, 1740-1821). English, late 18th or early 19th C. Portrait set in an ornately carved giltwood and gesso frame. Hand written note on the back of the frame describes the career of Thomas Hudson (British, 1701-1779), English portrait painter.
