The gilt-bronze figural group depicting Bacchus attended by a Bacchante and a putto with a recumbent dog at his feet, raised overall on a painted wood base

Condition
Overall good condition with scuffs and oxidation to bronze commensurate with age. Scattered areas of rubbed wear to gilt surface. Loosening of putto figure from group. Wooden base with scuffs, nicks, and scratches throughout, vertical shrinkage cracks to one side, a horizontal shrinkage crack running around perimeter, and a .25" chipped loss to the verso. Adhesive felt pad to underside.
