Oil Painting, New England, circa 1860s, depicting a mother on horse, two boys and a girl crossing a stream with two goats, the father forging ahead in the distance, H.W. Gear stencil on canvas (1866-1871), in a gilt molded frame, OS: 13 1/2" x 19 1/2", SS: 10 1/2" x 16 1/2". One small puncture in trees. Note on stretcher reads "I present this to my darling Anne requesting her to always keep it as a kind token of love from her Mama. Work of Aunt A."
