English or American, late 18th / early 19th century. Group of two broadside ballads listing lyrics to "The Pigeon" and "Soldier and Bonny Lass" below a hand colored woodcut illustration. On laid paper. One with ink inscription upper right “77”. Matching gilt frames. Gallery label to verso of each for The House of Heydenryk, New York. Provenance: Private Collection, Cashiers, NC. Approx. 16.25” x 13.125” (frame), 10.875” x 7.5” (sheet).

Sheets are floating - not examined out of the frame. Each sheet with toning, soiling, and losses.
