American, Southern, possibly Tennessee, late 19th century. Oak biscuit or pastry table, having a hinged top revealing a stone slab, single drawer, and rising on turned legs with turnip feet. Unmarked. Provenance: From the Lifetime Collection of Billy S. Arant, Jr., Chattanooga, TN. Approx. h. 37", w. 25.25", d. 23".
Condition
Stable crack to top; chips to edges of stone; pleasing wear and patina; table is structurally sound.
