Description
French, likely first standard, 1809-1819. Near pair, silver empire coffee and tea pots, both with eagle spouts, ebonized wooden handles, ovoid bodies raised on three applied anthemion with curved legs and lion's paw feet. Marks rubbed. Approx. h. 11", weight 25.52 ozt. (coffee pot); h. 10", weight 24.24 ozt. (tea pot).
Condition
Marks rubbed on both; surface scratches and minor dents to both; drops on handles to both possibly restored.
