Description
The carved wood frame with arched top having original gold leaf finish and oil paintings on stretched canvas depicting ladies of the Court in oval medallions embellished with laurel wreaths and festoon over herm figures above scrolls and bouquets. The reverse is covered in checked cloth.
Measures 77 x 78 x 1.5 inches.
Provenance: The multi-generation collection of an early Kansas City family in the same home since 1962.

The frame is in very good condition, the canvases are good though loose and slightly buckled in areas, each has punctures and breaks as shown.
