Four Native American Blackware Pots
20th century, a carved tapered vase, retains partial pencil signature now illegible (5 in.) (flake to shoulder); a low bowl used as an ashtray, signed "? Tafoya" (interior glaze rubbed and burned); a small dish (edge chip); a signed "Marie & Julian" angular olla (side glaze chip; several minute scattered nicks) (3 5/8 in.).
Tafoya family are potters at Santa Clara; Marie and Julian Martinez were from Ildefonso Pueblo 1925-1943.
