Description

Edward VII Silver Mounted Leather Travel Clock Case and an Eight Day Pocket Watch

The mount mark of William Comyns, London, 1902; monogrammed; the watch with enamel face, unsigned.

The case 6 3/4 x 6 1/4 x 2 in., the watch 6 in. high.

The Neoclassicist: Niall Smith

Condition

The case with wear, splits to the leather and some losses to the edges, replacement screws and a few minor bruises to the mount. Fading and losses to the fabric interior, the latch does hold. The watch with some crazing to the face, oxidation to the metal case. The case does not open and the movement does not appear to work.
