Erte Late 1980s Limited Edition 1.25ctw Diamond, Carved Mother of Pearl, 14K Yellow Gold & Sterling Silver "Rainbow in Blossom" Convertible Necklace/Brooch #51/250 - This exquisite piece was designed by the father of Art Deco himself, Romain de Tirtoff (Erte). The necklace is from Erte's extremely limited edition jewelry collection made in collaboration with the Circle Fine Art Gallery, which he called "Art to Wear". This Rainbow in Blossom necklace was finely crafted of solid 14k yellow gold and sterling silver, and features a carved mother of pearl cameo of a young woman surrounded by a flower rainbow enhanced by approximately 1.25ctw SI1-SI2/G-H small Round brilliant cut diamonds and the blooming garden that forming the chain. This necklace has a versatile convertible design as the centerpiece can detach and be worn as a 3" x 2.5" brooch. The necklace is signed "Erte" on the mother of pearl cameo and numbered "51/250" on the back along with "CFA", "14K" and "STER". The necklace measures approximately 16" in length. Condition: The necklace is in excellent vintage condition with minimal wear. (WEIGHT: 142.5 grams)
