(Disneyland, 1956) A delicate solar engine toy from the early days of the park in its original box. This toy is powered by sunlight, which makes the diamond-shaped blades spin around. Included is paper insert which asks, "What makes this radiometer turn?" The toy measures 5" tall and 3" in diameter in the 5.25"x3.25" and 3.25" deep box. The condition of the toy is very good, with some minor surface wear. The box has some edge-wear and moisture discoloration near the bottom, but it has not affected anything within the box. There is minor tearing on the flaps and tearing on the hinges of the lid has been repaired with brown tape. The paper insert shows discoloration and surface wear from age.
