(Disneyland, c.2000s) A pelt of replacement faux fur for the Max the Whitetail Buck audio-animatronic figure from the Country Bear Jamboree. Max was part of a comic team of audio-animatronic hunting trophies with Buff the Buffalo and Melvin the Moose that hung in the Country Bear Playhouse and commented on the action during the show. The Playhouse closed in 2001, replaced by the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh attraction. Max, Buff, and Melvin were incorporated into the new ride, hanging above the Hunny Heaven room. The irregularly-shaped pelt measures approximately 61"x33" and is in very good condition, exhibiting some molting and stickiness to the touch.
