(Disney, c.1950s) A vintage Mouseketeer TV Story Teller combination record player and "television" viewer. The piece consists of a 78-rpm record player in a steel litho cabinet, and a vintage TV set-up with a nob and a cutout window on the front. The record player's platter and tone arm are present, but the stylus is absent. The device is accompanied by record and scroll sets for Peter Pan, Bambi, Pinocchio, Dumbo (with a duplicate Part 2 scroll), and Snow White (missing the Part 1 scroll). The original cardboard box packaging is included. The records measure 7" in diameter and exhibit some scratches and scuffs. They have not been tested for playability. The scrolls are 4" tall and exhibit some creasing, soiling, tattering, and handling. Measuring 9"x13.5" and 9.25" deep, the Story Teller is in fair condition with a missing front-right leg and general surface wear and some dents throughout.
