KING HOSTICK BY GEORG STUDIO PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPH OF ABRAHAM LINCOLN
This image, created ca. 1955, was originally taken by Alexander Hesler in June of 1860 in Springfield, Illinois, for Lincoln's Presidential campaign. Duplicate glass negatives were discovered in 1952 by King V. Hostick of Springfield, Illinois, from which Hostick had Herbert Georg Studio of Springfield, Illinois created this photograph. The 9.6" by 7.6" photograph is mounted on cardstock identifying Hostick and Georg. Frame: 19.5" height, 14" width
