Rare French piece from 1923 of a girl with a kitten by Louis Icart. Pencil signed on the lower right. The art work is framed with an oval shap matting. The light brown tint may be from discoloration/yellowing as this piece is quite old. The thin delicate gold tone with simple ornate detail complements the piece very well. The molding on top of frame is delicate and may need repair to strength as I personally feel its worth keeping. In good vintage condition with some ships. Oval image measures approximately 12"x15.5" with a frame that measures approximately 18.25"x22.5". The frame appears to be the original. The publisher and printer's names in margin. Very good used condition.
