9 x 11 1/2 inches (22.9 x 29.3 cm)
George Balanchine's Ballet Imperial (renamed Tchiakovsky Piano Concerto No. 2 in 1973) debuted in 1941 in Rio de Janeiro with the American Ballet Caravan. This set design was evidently created for the 1950 revival at Sadler's Wells Theatre (later the Royal Ballet) in London.

Sheet is tipped to backing at upper left and upper right. Glue stains on reverse not visible on recto. Scattered minor handling creases throughout. Scattered edge wear. A stain along right edge. Darker staining along lower edge and left edge.
