This is Vintage Antique Primitive Folk ART Native American Indian Eskimo Inuit Terracotta clay Large Figurine
The figurine probably is made by Guy de Pelteau, Quebec.
The figurine is made from clay or terracotta with Partially glazed stoneware.
It's a craft ORIGINAL one-of-a-kind creation artistic item made by Guy de Pelteau in Quebec Canada.
For many years his creations are highly like red clay and this one is so exceptional being with such ceramic glazes he added. It is a delightful figure with many details he sculpted.
The figurine shows an Inuit/Eskimo family - mother, father, a boy and the baby. Possibly the father is returning from a successful and long hunting trip.
He carries a seal on his shoulder.
It is large and heavy figurine. It is 8" tall and 7" by 5 1/2" at the base. The figurine is 5.7 lb. or 2.6 kg
