It has a middle period 1907-12 paper label on the rear upper rail and a very crisp 3/4” rounded-signature 1904-1906/7 red decal on the inside right side of the rear lower rail. This confines the date of the specimen to c.1907. The number 541 is impressed into the front right seat block, and the underside of the corresponding corner block of the slip-in seat. Condition: This piece is generally very crisp and has a nice medium dark finish. The finish is described in the catalog as “cleaned original”. The rush has been replaced with fibre.
