Catalonia, 18th century.Ceramics.Measurements: 20 cm (height) x 10 cm (diameter).Albarelo made of ceramic, decorated on the exterior face with a naturalistic composition in blue glaze, placed on a white setting. This decoration reflects the technical skill and sensitivity of the craftsmen, the European and Oriental influences and the successive technical innovations that gave the work of the Catalan potters a unique character. As for the technique used, despite its monochrome, the use of cobalt blue applied in different gradations produces a large number of shades that, in turn, contrast with the white tone used as the base of the piece.
