BAULE COLONIAL AFRICAN multi-figural hand-carved and pigment painted ceremonial wood sculpture on an allegorical carved wood base (which is removable).
Eight hand carved and painted full figure Colonial soldiers on motorbikes, woman carrying goods, colonial police including a center elephant in an elaborately carved and painted cart with a donkey figural head.
Dimensions: cart with base total 43 in. hgt. x 28 in. wd. x 20in. dp.
Cart without base 28 in.
Wood base: 15 1/2 in.
