Description
PoliticalPlaque with Brass Busts of the First 30 Presidents

1923, Brass Plaque featuring small bas-relief busts of each president, starting with George Washington and concluding with “Silent Cal” Calvin Coolidge, Extremely Fine.
“GEORGE WASHINGTON AND SCULPTURED BUSTS OF SUCCEEDING PRESIDENTS”, Copyright by A. Eisenberg, is a 6.25” x 7.75” plaque with a 4.5” x 5” flap on the reverse side which opens to reveal paper biographies of each president save for Washington. Washington’s bust is larger than his successors. Calvin Coolidge (1872-1933), thirtieth President of the United States, serving from 1923 to 1929, took office upon the death of Warren G. Harding and won his second term with little difficulty. He was also a former Governor of Massachusetts and he held several state offices as a Republican. A fun patriotic device issued upon the new Administration taking office.
