Russian hand-painted lacquer boxes, group of five with architecture themes, including: "Autumn" by Gupin, depicting a sunset scene of a church at water's edge, with glistening golden accents, minor damage to left edge, 6 ½" l.; "St. Basil's Cathedral in Red Square" by Tugarinova, a snow scene with many colorful foil accents to cathedral, 3 ¾" l.; "Christ the Savior Cathedral" by Kuznetsova, depicts church in snow with mother of pearl inlay, sides and bottom with gold dust finish, 4 ½" l.; "Life Along the River" by Krestinina, of winter scene with several people throughout, 5 ½" l.; along with box depicting a clock tower along the edge of a fortified wall, 4" l.; all signed along bottom edge, all with wear consistent with age and use.
