Engel's Patent School and Salon Microscope, c. 1875
Invented by Conrad von Rappard, made by Mikroskopisches Institut Engel & Comp., original lacquered brass, sliding tube coarse focusing, 1 objective, 1 eyepiece, usable as table or handheld microscope. The tube can be mounted either on the conical stand with concave polished steel mirror or on the large Lieberkuhn mirror with object holder. Lieberkuhn Ø 3 2/5 in., height with stand foot 9 in., in fitted wood case, very good condition.

Erfunden von Conrad von Rappard, Hersteller: Mikroskopisches Institut Engel & Comp., original zaponiertes Messing, Fokussierung mit Schiebetubus, 1 Objektiv, 1 Okular, verwendbar als Stand- und Handmikroskop. Der Tubus ist wahlweise schraubar auf den konischen Standfuß mit konkaven Spiegel aus poliertem Stahl oder auf den großen Lieberkühn-Spiegel mit Objekthalter. Lieberkühn Ø 8,7 cm, Höhe mit Standfuß 23 cm, in Original-Holzkasten, sehr guter Zustand.
