Grouping of (4) pieces "American Modern" ceramic serveware by Russel Wright for the Steubenville Pottery Company, all circa 1940's/50's, including: pitcher, creamer and handled sugar in Chartreuse; and celery dish in Cedar Green. All signed Russel Wright on bottom, all but creamer with Steubenville marks (creamer marks partially obscured by glaze and craquelure). Identical pitcher can be found in the permanent collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Dimensions: (Pitcher) H 10" x W 8.5" x D 7" Condition: Creamer and sugar glazes with moderate craquelure/crazing, likely inherent to glaze. The rest showing very few signs of use.
