RIAA Gold album award for the The Sopranos: Music From The HBO Original Series. This album was released on December 14, 1999 and was certified Platinum by the RIAA on April 14, 2000 for 500,000 copies sold.
Featuring tracks made popular by the HBO series, this album included everything from Frank Sinatra's "It Was a Very Good Year" to tunes from Bob Dylan, Sopranos cast member Little Steven (& The Disciples of Soul), Cream, Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello & the Attractions, Los Lobos and others who contributed tunes for the series.

Detailed Item Description: This is a first presentation RIAA Gold award that would have been manufactured in 2000 when this style of RIAA award was made. That makes this award approx. 20 years old. It is presented to Glen Brunman, who was an executive with various records labels and who has a long history of developing very successful film and television soundtracks.
This award is in Excellent condition. All components are in excellent condition, including the backing paper with manufacturer's sticker from Jewel Box Platinum
