Chinese Imari Porcelain Bleeding Bowl with old label on bottom "1848 December 25, This bowl was given to me by Esther Morton Smith, wife of Daniel Smith" goes on to talk about Thomas Richardson, who married John's first wife, daughter of Bevis Newberry, Newport, Rhode Island, (chip on rim), diameter 10 1/8 inches. Provenance: From a Newport, Rhode Island historic home, in the same family since 1761.
