Duesenberg Model J Town Car Original Drawing by Designer Philip O. Wright - Offered Without Reserve - During Mr. Wright's time at both Walter Murphy's shops in Pasadena and his time with the Cord Corporation in Auburn, Indiana, he developed a passion for creating substantial automobiles that were ideal for the Classic era, from sporty speedsters to luxury sedans to over-the-top town cars such as this design. Using white ink and gouache on black paper, this is the ultimate in classic car design. This stunning car was part of a group of drawings commissioned by our consignor in the early 1970s.
