EARLY PAUL YSART (SCOTTISH, 1904-1979) ATTRIBUTED CLOSE-PACK MILLEFIORI ART GLASS PAPERWEIGHT, encasement having a grey tint, large central close-pack medallion featuring an assortment of millefiori canes in many colors, encircled by an exterior ring of alternating large floral-motif canes and orange and yellow vertical filigree twists, all above a mottled cobalt blue ground, rough pontil mark. Scotland. Third quarter 20th century. 2 7/8" D.
Very good condition overall with a single surface bruise and some scattered surface wear/scratching.
