Description
Pair of Leather Ledgers from Kinderhook NY. Entries appear to be for metalworking, and include roof repairs, stove repairs, and many metal goods such as pans, tinware and sieves, and so much more. Hardback and bound in brown leather, the ledgers have "Day Book" in gilt on spine. Paper is lined in blue, and entries are handwritten in black and purple ink. Larger book starts in 1871, and smaller one begins in 1873. Charles Palmer written in ink on first page.
