Framed Antique William Hogarth (British, 1694-1764) Engraving, Noon, 1738 from his Four Times a Day series.This is the second in the series of 4, and depicts wealthy people walking down a cobblestone street, unaware of the poverty surrounding them. Lower left reads "Invented, Painted & Engraved by Wm Hogarth & Published March 25 1738 according to Act of Parliament." Print is nicely framed in dark wood with a gold inner border, and matted in white.
