Framed Engraving, Harlot's Progress, by William Hogarth (British, 1694-1764), from a series of 6, illustrating a cautionary tale about the life of a young woman, Molly Hackabout, from the countryside who moves to London and becomes a prostitute. This is the first in the series of 6. Print is nicely framed in dark wood with a gold inner border, and matted in white.
