Description

English, Circa 1800

Each with a pineapple carved gilt and ebonized shaft, the turned platform base on brass paw feet, each with panels with a theorem on velvet depicting fruit which slides on the pole to various positions.

H. 58 1/2 in.

Provenance: Mrs. J. Amory Haskell, Rumson, New Jersey (Underside of each with circa 1930-1950 sticker "To: a New Jersey Private Collection

Condition: Some fading to the theorems, repairs to the shafts. Brass paw feet are original with original screws.
