Description
Beautiful 19th century Staffordshire George Phillips blue transferware covered vegetable dish in the Park Scenery pattern. Marked on bottom, "Park Scenery/G Phillips/Longport". Both the interior of the dish and the lid are tissue transfer printed with a bucolic scene of cows grazing with trees and houses in the background. Dish has 2 side handles, and the lid has a flower shaped molded finial. Display this stunning piece prominently in your antique china cabinet.
Dimensions are 6 in h x 13 in w x 10.25 in d. Condition is good for its age with slight surface wear, crazing and discoloration throughout. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
