DESCRIPTION: (2 Pc) Set of art glass carafe and large rectangular serving dish in clear glass with gilt and pink embellishment decorations depicting a figural classical scene group from ancient Greece. This item was designed by designer Georges Briard and includes his signature logo at the bottom right side of each central figural scene decoration.

Georges Briard was an American designer in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. He is most well known for his signature dishware and glassware - everything from cups and plates to gold plated serving dishes. His signature collection was stocked at noted department stores, such as Neiman Marcus and Bonwit Teller.
