This is a vintage bookcase with a bow front and two adjustable shelves. It is solid wood. A Victorian cherry veneer bookcase from The Wabash Cabinet Co. out of Indiana. The bookcase has two top drawers with double loop pull handles. Over the drawers is a carved geometric band. The cabinet rests on short, bracketed feet. The good solid condition with wear and use as expected to finish on an item of this era. A light watermark to the top is noted. Dimensions: 11.5 inches deep x 39.5 inches wide x 44.5 inches high. The Wabash cabinet company was one of Wabash Indiana’s core industries at the turn of the century and lasted well into the 20th century.
