Gordie Howe (1928-2016) Hockey player. Howe played twenty-six seasons in the National Hockey League and six seasons in the World Hockey Association; his first 25 seasons were spent with the Detroit Red Wings. Nicknamed "Mr. Hockey", Howe is often considered the most complete player to ever play the game and one of the greatest of all time. His book, with his wife Colleen Howe, “and…Howe!”, Power Play Publications, 1995, presumed first edition, signed in red ink on the first title page: "To Pat Durst Brocky Colleen Howe” and "Our vert best Gordie Howe 9 1997.” The dust jacket shows slight wear.
