Original WW2 period steel helmet with canvas sweatband webbing, marked "FIRST-AID" with red paint on the front and stamped on the inside "U.S. GOV'T PROPERTY O.C.D." These helmets were made for the US Government and used by the Office of Civilian Defense (OCD) during WWII.
