Welcome to the first Antique & Modern Jewellery Auction of 2017. Our catalogue this sale includes gorgeous gemstones, certified diamonds and antique jewellery to suit all tastes. So for those of you with resolutions for an updated jewellery box, we are sure to have just the thing! A striking suite of Cartier jewellery adorns our back cover. Lots 316 and 318 are an exquisitely detailed pair of sapphire and diamond spray earrings and matching brooch. Oozing 1960s style, the diamonds and sapphires are accented by textured openwork leaf surrounds. These eye-catching pieces are offered at £500-700 and £1,000-1,500 respectively. Another statement designer item this sale is lot 335, a Hermès clip designed as a bumblebee. This sweet clip is offered at £600-800. Gemstones to appeal to all include lot 86, a Colombian emerald ring, lot 165, a Ceylon sapphire pendant and lot 375, a Burmese ruby ring.
