The Salmagundi Club, at 47 Fifth Avenue in New York City's Greenwich Village, will host its famous Annual Spring Fund-Raising Auctions of works by artist members in all media, including oil painting, sculpture, fine-art graphics, and photography. Works at auction can be viewed at the Club and online from Monday, February 29 through Friday, March 18. Auctions will occur on three consecutive Friday nights - March 4, 11, & 18, all at 8PM EST.The semi-annual recurrence of this event is eagerly anticipated by art collectors familiar with the well-known quality and diversity of works by Salmagundi artists. Every spring and fall avid collectors gather in the Club's large Upper Gallery to purchase pieces of lasting beauty and value at prices far below those at commercial galleries. At this spring's 2016 event, over 200 beautifully executed works of art will be on display.
